5 Uplifting Songs to Help You Get Your Mojo Going

Music! What would we do without it?

I have a dependable collection of tunes that I use for getting myself out of the doldrums or when I just need some inspiration. When you need something to just make you smile, maybe you can reach for this list and add these to wherever you get your music.

Whether I’m embarking on a long drive, or doing a solitary workout, my music game has to be in check. Because I stream most of my music now, I (thankfully) no longer have to be encumbered by records, cassettes, or CDs to have the songs I enjoy available when I want them. But I do have fond memories of opening brand new vinyl albums. And flipping through a friend’s record collection was often a great way to spark hours of memorable conversation. The delivery mechanism has changed, but many of the go-to songs I use to adjust my attitude remain the same.

These are five songs I am peeling off the stack, so to speak, in no particular order.

I’m Free – Jon Secada
So What – Pink
Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield
There’s Hope – India.Arie
Golden – Jill Scott
